Daybed Facts
| Daybeds (also called " trundle beds") provide for some unique
challenges in bedding manufacture, and it is vital that anyone who orders
bedding for a daybed be well-informed. There are few universal standards
in the bedding industry, and none at all when it comes to daybeds.
|
 |
More often than not, daybed bedspreads and bed skirts will
have to be split at the corners, and the drop of the bed skirt and
bedspread will have to be carefully measured.
Some daybeds are 75" long, and 38" wide, just like a twin
bed. Most are not. Customers who order twin sized bedding,
expecting it to fit their daybed, are often disappointed.
|
| In any case, never assume that any measurement on a daybed is
"standard." While daybeds can be an elegant addition to any
room, they demand extra care in dressing them up right. |
